2 cups grated coconut (fresh or desiccated)
¾ cup condensed milk (or adjust to taste)
½ tsp cardamom powder
2 tbsp chopped dry fruits (cashews, almonds, pistachios)
Ghee (for greasing)
Directions
- Roast the Coconut
- In a pan, lightly dry roast the grated coconut on low flame for 2-3 minutes. If using fresh coconut, cook slightly longer to reduce moisture.
- Mix Condensed Milk
- Add condensed milk to the pan and mix thoroughly. Stir continuously so the mixture doesn’t stick.
- Add Flavor
- Mix in the cardamom powder and chopped dry fruits. Keep stirring until the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides.
- Shape the Ladoos
- Turn off the heat and let it cool slightly. Grease your palms with ghee and roll small portions into ladoos.
