- For Singhare Ka Atta Poori
1 cup singhare ka atta
1 medium boiled potato (mashed)
½ tsp sendha namak (rock salt)
½ tsp black pepper powder
Water (as required)
Ghee or oil (for frying)
- For Aloo Sabzi (Vrat-Friendly)
3 medium potatoes (boiled & cubed)
1 green chili (chopped)
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tbsp ghee
Sendha namak (as per taste)
½ tsp black pepper powder
½ tsp coriander powder
Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)
Directions
- Prepare Singhare Ka Atta Poori
- In a bowl, add singhade ka ata, mashed potato, sendha namak, and black pepper.
- Mix well and knead into a soft dough using little water if required.
- Grease your hands and roll out small pooris on a plastic sheet.
- Heat ghee/oil in a kadhai and fry the pooris until golden brown and puffed.
- Make Aloo Sabzi for Vrat
- Heat ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds, ginger, and green chili.
- Add boiled potato cubes and sauté for a minute.
- Sprinkle sendha namak, coriander powder, and black pepper.
- Add ½ cup water to make light gravy and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
