How to make Masala Chaas

1 cup fresh curd (plain yogurt)
1.5 cups chilled water
½ tsp roasted cumin powder
¼ tsp black salt
Salt to taste
1 green chilli (optional, chopped)
5–6 fresh mint leaves
Few coriander leaves
A pinch of hing (asafoetida)
Directions
- Step 1: In a blender or mixing jar, combine curd and chilled water. Blend until it becomes smooth and frothy.
- Step 2: Add roasted cumin powder, black salt, regular salt, and a pinch of hing.
- Step 3: Add chopped green chilli (optional), mint leaves, and coriander leaves. Blend again for a few seconds.
- Step 4: Pour into glasses. Sprinkle some roasted cumin powder on top and garnish with mint.
- Step 5: Serve immediately chilled or refrigerate for 15–20 minutes before serving.
