Ingredients

  • Whole black urad dal

  • Rajma

  • Butter

  • Fresh cream

  • Onion

  • Tomato puree

  • Ginger & garlic

  • Green chilli

  • Red chilli powder

  • Garam masala

  • Salt

Directions

  • Soak Dal
  • Wash whole black urad dal and rajma and soak overnight.
  • Cook Dal
  • Pressure cook with salt and water till soft and creamy.
  • Make Masala
  • Heat butter, sauté onions till golden. Add ginger-garlic and cook well.
  • Add Tomato & Spices
  • Add tomato puree, red chilli powder and garam masala. Cook till butter separates.
  • Add Dal & Simmer
  • Add cooked dal, mix well and simmer on low flame for 20–25 minutes.
  • Finish
  • Add cream and more butter. Mix gently and serve hot.
