1 medium potato (peeled & diced) – optional
2–3 green chilies (slit)
1 tsp mustard seeds
8–10 curry leaves
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp peanuts
1½ tbsp oil
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves (chopped)
Directions
- Prepare the Poha Rice
- Rinse poha gently in water 1–2 times until softened.
- Drain completely and set aside.
- Sprinkle a little salt and turmeric powder over the rinsed poha and mix lightly.
- Tempering & Cooking
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
- Add peanuts and roast until golden.
- Add curry leaves, green chilies, and chopped onions. Sauté until onions turn translucent.
