Maggi Masala Ingredients

  • 2 packets Atta Maggi

  • 1 tbsp oil or butter

  • ½ chopped onion

  • ½ chopped tomato

  • 1 small chopped capsicum

  • ½ tsp red chili powder

  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp Maggie Masala (from the packet or homemade – see tips)

  • 1½ cups water

  • Fresh coriander leaves – chopped

How to Make Maggie Masala

  • Heat oil in a pan and sauté chopped onions until translucent.
  • Add tomatoes and capsicum. Cook till soft.
  • Sprinkle turmeric, red chili powder, and Maggie Masala. Stir well.
  • Add 1½ cups water and bring to a boil.
  • Break the Atta Maggi noodles and add to the boiling water.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes until the noodles are soft and the water is absorbed.
  • Garnish with coriander and a dash of lemon juice.
  • Serve piping hot!

Tips for the Perfect Maggie Masala

  • You can use vegetable stock instead of plain water for extra flavor.
  • Add corn, green peas, or paneer cubes to enhance the nutrition.
